About Me
Great design is found in the balance between intent, interaction, and immersion.
I take an evidence-based approach to creating designs which are targeted to the needs of the user, in a way that’s both visually appealing and standout, and strives to meet long-term goals.
I’ve been working in the industry since 2017, having studied in Leeds on a course that focussed on creative industries, brand, and how to get the most out of a positive and inclusive creative process.
From then and until mid 2022, a colleague and I founded and grew our own design studio, working with businesses of all sizes on Brand, wWeb, UX/UI, and long-term support projects.
I’ve since worked for well over two years in a high-growth environment within the brand department of a SAAS company. There, I learned how to innovate new designs and campaigns, following brand fundamentals.
Most recently, I produced an overhauled UX for a high-traffic blogging platform, complete with custom iconography, peripheral print assets, and event assets. Working closely with a project team, this was a long-term design process with a focus on interface, compelling features, and ease-of-admin.
I’m passionate about creating the highest quality solutions in an efficient, future-looking, and sustainable way, especially developing a brand.
