Bourn Council

I was approached by Bourn Council in 2018, when they were looking with assistance with the design of a brand new website to replace the existing system. Working with the council, local communities, and stakeholders, the website had the goal of being the focal point for village planning, communication, and and community

From the outset, the website was designed to meet WCAG 2.1 guidelines to the highest reasonable level — as is the standard for websites in the public domain. Offering a space to village communities, such as the sports club, who have many members but no website, was also a key focus of the website, as well as other community-building inclusions such as a calendar, business glossary, and more.
