Home-Start UK

I was approached by Home-Start to assist with the creation of a ‘thank-you’ booklet for their employees and friends. I volunteered my time for the charity, as do vast the majority of Home Start staff. They do amazing work, which you can find out more about, here!

Armed only with the poems and a distant deadline, Kathy and the team gave me complete creative freedom to compile the booklet for them, and once approved, send it off for printing. After seeing the first design draft, the Home Start team were able to bring an illustrator onboard for the project, with whom I worked directly. The booklet was to be reasonably hardwearing, though recyclable and made of paper/card. They entrusted me with picking appropriate paper and printers.
