About the project
Overview
The Digital Wardrobe was an extension of the Image Ability (IA) project. This was a discovery process, delivering a prototype of an effective, audience-appropriate UX for the project.
Design targets
The brief was to design a digital space in which IA subscribers could curate and manage their wardrobes. Key considerations would be the addition of garments (including entering various metrics, and a photograph), their management, and keeping the process on-brand.
Proposal:
Mobile-first UX: Removes awkward file transfers, more intuitive data-entry process, and ability to upload items on-the-go – vital given target audience.
All-in-one platform: The proposal included an all-in-one platform, removing multiple user accounts, management systems, and reducing costs for admins.
